A frequent local favourite. The food is always fresh and flavourful. A special nod to the La Mora margarita, as well as the Street Corn and Guacamole starters....all are a “must try”! The staff are welcoming and attentive. As someone with celiac disease, dining out can be stressful, but staff at this establishment are knowledgeable about their menu offerings and have ensured a safe dining experience, time and time again. This included a recent large order for a party; the food was delicious, hot and packed to ensure an excellent dining experience at home that was enjoyed by all. If you’re looking for an elevated dining experience for a special occasion, or a casual night out - Chuuk will not disappoint!
Loved the food, especially the guac and tacos. The portions are perfect to share amongst 3-4 people if you order a few of them. Service was great and the waiter was very patient and kind!

The food is delicious and very nice ambiance! If you bring your own birthday cake, there is a 3 per person service fee. Otherwise, great place and quiet for talking

We ordered the cassava fries, baja fish tacos, birria tacos—and of course, the churros! The manager addressed the issue with eloquence and care, ensuring that we felt seen, heard, and respected. While the explanation and apology we received from the patron may be open to interpretation in terms of sincerity, the way the Chuuk team handled the matter made all the difference. Their quick action and unwavering commitment to fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment allowed us to move past the moment and continue enjoying our evening. We came on a Friday night and had a great Mexican meal. Everything tasted fresh and well seasoned. The guac and street corn were generous portions and perfect as a combination for dipping. Our al pastor and fish tacos were tasty and a good balance of textures and flavors. The curious felt a bit dry but the ice cream was perfection! Parking available in plaza. Great ambiance. Highly recommend reservations!
